Confused![edit source]

So, Emissions are the substances themselves, and Imissions are those same substances, but measured as they react with the environment? So then what is the difference between secondary emissions and imissions? Thanks for the help!

Dear user PedroM,

imission is consequence of emission (primary and secondary). Emission can be measured at source (close to source), imission is measured in the environment, they are stored in plants, organisms, air and soil... But basically, emissions and imissions are the same substances.

Thank you!
