Help:License

From WikiLectures

If you want to check and sign the parameter license in the editorial process template, you have to check for the license of all the images or files, which the article contains:

  1. Does the image even have a license?If the image does not contain any license, you should contact the user who uploaded this file and ask him for adding the license. Or, if the file has in parameter source link on web page, you can try to find and add the correct license on your own.
  2. Does the image have a correct license?If there is a link on web page in source of the file, you should check, if the license of the file used in WikiLectures is the same like the license in the web page.

I you find out, that the licence is not correct, because there is a link on page without parameters of this file, it is probably, that we can not use this file in WikiLectures. You should contact the user, who uploaded this file and ask him for more detail information about that image. You should also insert the template {{Process}} in the page of this image.

If all these things are checked (and fixed), you can sign the parameter license in editorial process template by your editorial signature Button mysignature.png:

}}

If you checked the parameter license, you should check the parameter images too!

If the article does not contain any file, the parameters image and licence should not be sign.
