Staining methods (1. LF UK)

One of the phases of preparation of histological preparations is staining with the help of dyes prepared (most often) by chemical synthesis. We divide the methods into clear and special. The basic clear staining method is the so-called hematoxylin-eosin. Other types are, for example, the green Masson's trichrome or the Weigert-van Gieson method. With clear staining methods, cell nuclei, ligaments and muscle tissue are differentiated by color. Thanks to this, we can distinguish individual structures under a microscope.
