Musculus obturatorius internus

Origin: the inner surface of the membrana obturatoria and the perimeters of the adjacent bones.

Insertion: fossa trochanterica.

Inervation: plexus sacralis (L4−S1−2).

Function: external rotation, abduction in the hip joint.
