Hepatoduedonal ligament

The hepatoduodenal ligament forms the right edge of the minus omentum . It runs from the porta hepatis to the pars superior duodeni .

It borders the anterior wall of the foramen omentale (epiploicum) , which is the entrance to the omental bursa .

Content	a. hepatica propria, ductus choledochus, v. portae, lymphatic vessels

Contains:

• proper hepatic artery (ventromedially),
• common bile duct (ventrolaterally),
• portal vein (dorsally),
• lymphatic vessels and twigs from n. X.
