Bifidobacterium is a genus of gram-positive, non-sporulating, anaerobic rods that can branch at the end.
Pathogenity[edit | edit source]
Pathogenic activity has been described in B. dentium , which is implicated in dental caries and rarely in mixed endogenous anaerobic infections.
