Agglutinogen

Agglutinogen is a substance of antigenic nature, the presence of which in the body triggers the production of a specific antibody, so-called agglutinin. The reaction between agglutinogen and agglutinin causes the aggregation (or agglutination) of the cells on the surface of which the agglutinogen is located.
