Tumors of the Uterus

Tumors of the uterus can be divided into 2 large groups': tumors of the cervix and tumors of the body of the uterus. These groups are further divided into benign and malignant tumors.
Tumors of the cervix
- Benign: Endocervical polyp.
- Precancer: Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia.
- Malignant: Squamous cell carcinoma.

Tumors of the uterine body
- Benign tumors: Polyp and leiomyoma.
- Malignant tumors: Leiomyosarcoma, stromal sarcoma, carcinoma and carcinosarcoma.
