  • caused by long hair getting caught in the machine
  • scalp replantation / formation of granulation tissue is supported. (colander-like holes in the diploe) → dermoepidermal graft

Partial scalp loss

  • solved with tissue expansion
  • less often rotational + transpositional flaps
