in a broader sense, they are chronic manifestations of various origins, long - term irritation stimulates the tissue to proliferate (chronic ulcers, lupus vulgaris, scars, etc.)
in these processes and their surroundings there are warty proliferating granulations - they mimic the tumor - pseudoepitheliomatous hyperplasia or paratypic proliferation
in the narrower sense - separate clinical units, from which the tumor develops more often with a sufficiently long duration ...

Keratoma senile[edit | edit source]

= solar keratosis, actinic keratotic

in the elderly in places exposed to the sun and external influences, manifestations usually such as degeneratio cutis senilis
epidermal dysplasia
sharply demarcated deposit of gray to red color, rough surface, covered with hyperkeratotic scales, later becomes wet, then bleeds until ulcerated
turns into cancer (mainly carcinoma spinecellulare)

Cornu cutaneum

Cornu cutaneum[edit | edit source]

they do not differ from the keratom, a horn-like formation grows on the surface, even a few cm, the base can change into spinocelular carcinoma

Leukoplakia[edit | edit source]

typical precancerous mucosa, whitish, opalescent, sharply demarcated deposits
Later, the bearing can be:
- elevated - leukoplakia simplex,
- with a rough to verrucous surface - leukoplakia verrucosa,
- can erode - leukoplakia erosiva.
influences - smoking, mechanical irritation, chemical influences
must distinguish from lichen ruber!

Lentigo maligna[edit | edit source]

irregular brown to black deposit, irregular pigmentation
slow enlargement to the area
mainly face, men around 60 years
consequence of long-term exposure to UV radiation
proliferation of atypical melanocytes in the epidermis
risk of transition to malignant melanoma - lentigo maligna melanoma
