Perthes test for obliteration of deep veins of the lower limbs

Examination of patency of deep veins of lower limbs and connection of joints before surgery varices. We strangle the standing patient's limb above the varix and let him walk for a while. With proper vein patency, the varices should be emptied within 20-30 seconds. In case of insufficient couplings, the filling remains unchanged. When there is any obliterating of the deep veins, the filling of varicose veins increases and causes pain.
