Orbital magnetic moment of an electron

From WikiLectures

Failed to parse (syntax error): {\displaystyle \vec{\mu} = - \left(\frac{e}{2m_e} \right) \cdot \vec{L} = - {γ} \ \cdot \vec{L} }

e/2me is called the gyromagnetic ratio γ

m determines the direction of the vector of the orbital moment of momentum L (its component in the direction of the external magnetic field)

the unit is the Bohr magneton (e.ħ/2me=0,927.10-23 A.m2)
