Optical power

Optical power is a quantity expressing the refractive power of a lens. The unit of optical power is diopter, D. In SI units, it corresponds to m-1.

WHAT IS OPTICAL POWER:

Optical power is a physical quantity that describes the amount of curvature of a lens. Mark: φ Unit: D, diopter

Relationship: φ=1/f, f - is the focal length of the lens
