Hemoglobin concentration in the erythrocyte

Mean cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) is the concentration of hemoglobin in a unit of volume of erythrocytes.

It is calculated according to the formula:

$MCHC={\frac {\text{blood Hb concentration (g/l)}}{\text{hematocrit (in ratio units)}}}$

The physiological value is 300-350 g/l (liter of erythrocytes).
