Alpha-1-microglobulin

From WikiLectures

α-1-microglobulin is a blood plasma protein that inhibits leukocyte migration and the proliferative response of leukocytes to antigenes. Its concentration in the blood increases with a decrease in glomerular filtration. It can be found in the urine in the case of tubular proteinuria. Its molecular weight is 26 000.[1]
