Types of force interactions

One of the two forms of matter is a field. The field is characterized by the mutual force action of the sources of individual types of these fields. Force action has an exchange character, it is mediated by the exchange of quanta of these fields. We are looking for a theory unifying the description of all types of fields, an effort to describe all interactions with one system of equations (the so-called theory of everything).

Four types of interactions[edit | edit source]

Only four types of interactions occur in nature:

Gravitational force[edit | edit source]

The weakest of all interactions, the quantum is the hypothetical graviton, the source is mass, it operates in the macro world, and at long distances it is the predominant type of interaction.

Electromagnetic force[edit | edit source]

The quantum is a photon and the source is an electric charge. It acts between charged particles and causes electromagnetic phenomena. This interaction determines the size of atoms by creating a bond between the electrons and the nucleus. This force therefore determines the volume of objects. Most of the common forces in the macro world (frictional forces, resistance forces, ...) are caused by electromagnetic interaction.

Strong nuclear force[edit | edit source]

A quantum is a gluon that binds quarks together . The source is color, a saturated short-range field. The strong nuclear force operates at the level of the nucleus.

Weak nuclear force[edit | edit source]

A quantum is an intermediate boson. The source is the smell. This is the interaction that causes beta decay .
