Spinalis muscle

Template:Infobox - muscle A group of spinal muscles originating from and attaching to the spinous processes of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar vertebrae. It is divided into musculus thoracis and musculus cervicis.

Innervation: of the dorsal branch of spinal nerves.

Function: erecting, extending and lateroflexing the spine.
