Psychosis

Psychosis is a condition characterized by the misperception of thoughts and sensory perceptions that the patient perceives as real. This creates delusions and hallucinations. Psychiatric diagnoses are most often associated with psychoses - bipolar affective disorder and schizophrenia. Among other things, psychosis can be caused by drugs (e.g. marijuana).[1]
