An increasing number of babies survive a premature birth and many have various problems; among these are feeding behavior disorders.
The percentage of premature babies that develop feeding behavior disorders varies with different studies from 10 to 36 to 70 %. Presumably 70% of children with gestational age under 30 weeks develop serious feeding disorders.
