Organelle

Organelles are systems within cells with a specialized function. Their representation varies according to the metabolic processes of the cell. Some organelles are encased in biomembrane. According to this, we divide them into membrane and non-membrane organelles.

Membrane organelles

• Nucleus
• Endoplasmic reticulum
• Golgi apparatus
• Lysosomes
• Peroxisome
• Mitochondria and their structure

Non-membrane organelles

• Ribosome
• Cytoskeleton
• Centrosome
• Nucleolus
