Musculus flexor digiti minimi brevis (foot)

One of the muscles of the lower limb.

Origin: base of the 5th metatarsal, lig. plantare longum

Insertion: base of the proximal articularc surface of the little finger

Innervation: n. plantaris lateralis (branch from nervus tibialis)(S1–S2)

Function: flexion of the metatarsophalangeal joint of the 5th finger
