Miosis

Miosis means narrowing of the pupil of the human eye . Mediates the sphincter pupillae muscle , innervated by the parasympathetic nerve from the Edinger-Westphal nucleus. It changes the amount of light that hits the retina, increases the depth of field, and facilitates the outflow of aqueous humor into Schlemm's canal.
