Implants are widely used in prosthetic dentistry. They overcome many of the problems associated with RPD CD AND FPD. The main types are: endosteal, submucosal, transosteal and intramucosal. The one widely used in endosteal placement, it is transects one layer of cortical bone. The forms of endosteal placement are: root, blade and rams frame. The ramus frame passes from one side retromolar pad to the opposite pad and passes by the anterior symphysis. The framework can be made up of stainless steel. Subperiosteal placed implant/framework.The framework lies on top of bone surface and covered by resin material, and the surface of screw is exposed above occlusal line. Transosteal implants go through both cortical bone plates.
