Hypoesthesia

From WikiLectures

Hypoesthesia means a reduction in the sensitivity of the body for all somatosensation modalities (pain, heat, cold, vibration, and tactile sensation) or only for some of them. It can affect a small area of the skin or even the whole body. The cause is a lesion anywhere along the sensory pathways from the peripheral nerve to the cerebral cortex.
