9-Week Human Embryo from Ectopic Pregnancy

A fetus is an unborn human being.

The fetal period begins in humans in the 9th week of pregnancy (continues the previous embryonic period) and ends with the birth of an individual (i.e. childbirth). After birth, a human inidividual is already designated as newborn.[1]
