Endergonic Reaction

Endergonic reactions are events or processes that are (by themselves) energetically disadvantageous under physiological conditions (the change in Gibbs energy is positive, ΔG > 0) and can therefore only take place if they are directly connected to a reaction (event) that gives it energy.
