Bilateral periorbital ecchymosis - spectacle hematoma

Ecchymosis is a speckled bleeding into the skin and mucous membranes that creates a larger subcutaneous discharge. It occurs in vasculopathy and thrombocytopenia. It is larger in size than petechiae and smaller than suffusion.
