Cervical Sympathetic System

Preganglionic sympathetic fibers[edit | edit source]
- Originate from the intermediolateral nucleus of the spinal cord (level of T1- T3)
- Pass to ventral root of spinal cord
- Then proceed to white ramus communicantes
- Ascend to cervical chain and synapse either to superior, middle or inferior cercal SYM ganglia
- Majority of the synapse in the superior sympathetic ganglion
