Borderline disorders of glycoregulation

Borderline disorders of glycoregulation are considered to be the boundaries between normal glucose tolerance and diabetes mellitus:

• impaired fasting glucose ('IFG),
• impaired glucose tolerance ( impaired glucose tolerance, IGT).
