Biceps reflex

The biceps reflex is one of the physiological myotic (proprioceptive) reflexes on the upper limb with segmental innervation C5-6.

The reflex is equipped with a hammer on the lacertus fibrosus of the bicipitis brachii. The upper limb is approximately 90 ° flexion at the elbow. The physiological response is adequate forearm flexion.
