Anosognosia

From WikiLectures

Anosognosia is a condition in which the patient is not aware of the disorder or disease he or she is suffering from. It arises during a lesion of the non-dominant hemisphere (mostly the right). Most often, the patient is not aware of left-sided hemiparesis[1], some mental illnesses or advanced Alzheimer's disease.
