  2. Posterior belly of digastric muscle
  3. Lower margin of the body of mandible

  • Nerves
  1. Hypoglossal (XII)
  2. Mylohyoid (Posterior V3)
  3. Lingual nerve (V3)
  4. Ganglion submandibulare
  • Arteries
  1. Facial artery, which passes behind submandibular gland and gives the sub mental branch
  2. Lingual artery
  • Veins
  1. Facial vein, which passes in front of submandibular gland
  • Submandibular lymphatic nodes

In the deep of submandibular triangle is Trigonum Pirogovi, where is ligated lingual artery.
