| Description |
Posterior view of uterus, sliced in half coronally. The tumor extends from just beneath the endometrial surface completely through the myometrium, to involve the right broad ligament and fallopian tube, includng the right broad ligament margin of resection. The characteristic intravascular extension is best seen in the lower right of the image. The gynecologist remarked that he could palpate the cord-like intravascular extensions of the tumor in the pelvic blood vessels. |
