Description
English: Illustration of the Lorentz force
ATTENTION: The charge in the left part of the illustration is a positiv charge carrier. If it was a negative one, it would have been deflected into the other direction. In the right part of the illustration the Right-hand rule is used. Otherwise - to find the right Lorentz force - you have to use the the left hand.
Deutsch: Die Illustration zeigt die Lorentzkraft.
ACHTUNG:Es wird darauf verwiesen, dass es sich bei den bewegten Ladungen im linken Bild um positive Ladungsträger z.B. Kationen handeln muss. Bei Elektronen würde die Lorentzkraft in die entgegengesetzte Richtung wirken. Im rechten Bild ist die technische Stromrichtung mehler ergibt die Rechte-Hand-Regel die richtige Richtung. Ansonsten muss man zur Ermittlung der Richtung der Lorentzkraft auf Elektronen die linke Hand (siehe auch 3-Finger-Regel) nutzen.
