Charakteristics

Atributive risk (AR) expresses the absolute effect of exposure to a risk factor. It tells us how much higher the incidence of the consequences is in the group of exposed people compared to the group of non-exposed people. It is calculated according to the formula:

where Ie is incidence of the exposed and In incidence of non-exposed.
