on the level editor.

Editors are members of the wiki team who have the same access rights to WikiLectures as most users. They have detailed knowledge of the structure and operation of WikiLectures and the recommendations for working in them.

In particular, the role of editors is to:

  • Taking care of the structure of the WikiLectures, i.e. ensuring that the articles are properly classified so that readers can find them easily.
  • Help with editing articles, i.e. editing their typography, spelling and terminology, or editing images.
  • Assisting authors with the creation of more complex parts of articles, e.g. tables, mathematical and chemical formulae or graphical elements.
  • Monitoring contributors' work and giving advice on how to make better use of WikiScript features.
  • Converting text that contributors have provided in another format into WikiScript.
  • Processing Help:Contents.
  • Monitoring copyright compliance.
  • Taking care of the quality checking of articles by educators and the peer review process.
  • Protecting WikiLectures from vandalism and spam by patrolling (i.e. approving unverified edits).
