Linkage Studies

Linkage studies use the phenomenon of genetic linkage, common inheritance of genes or polymorphisms located close to each other on the chromosome, or even phenotypes - so-called cosegregation, to create genetic maps or localize loci and genes responsible for the investigated traits/diseases.
