Anulus tendineus communis (Zinni)is a circular common tendon of the oculomotor muscles located at the top of the orbit and surrounding the canalis opticus and partly the fissura orbitalis superior. All orbital oculomotor muscles begin here, with the exception of m. obliquus inferior. Above the rectus superior m. levator palpebrae superioris.

Through the common ring tendon the n. optic, a. ophthalmic, both branches of n. oculomotor, n. abducens and n. nasociliary.
