Possible findings: pain, tenderness, abnormal masses, deformities, doughy consistency, tensioned abdominal muscles. Palpation of abdomen is a part of a palpation procedure of a trauma patient. Palpated areas are typically thorax, abdomen, pelvis in same areas, head, spine, and upper and lower extremities.
