Description
English: The glial nature of ependymomas is seen well in cytologic preparations which resolve the fine processes emanating from neoplastic cells. The rather dark, somewhat elongated nuclei are typical. Although the eosinophilic cytoplasm lends an astrocytic quality, there is greater nuclear uniformity than in most astrocytomas.
