There are three possibilities how to find an article in Wikilectures:

- Using full text searching
- Using portals. Portals are intended especially for students. Their structure corresponds with the study plan and study subjects taught at First Medical Faculty.
- Using category tree. You can reach Wikilectures category tree from this page or from main category page (Category:Categories). Categorisation helps authors to find existing articles on particular topics.

Subjects
Putting article into the category sorted by subjects means – that the article will be placed in category which name corresponds to subjects names taught at First Medical Faculty, except dividing subjects to semesters – e.g. Anatomy 1 and Anatomy 2 will be only in one category – Anatomy.
Specialisations
In some cases subject names don’t correspond with medical specialisations or the same specialisation is taught at other faculties with different subject name. That is the reason for putting the article into suitable categories in specialisations category tree. Don’t forget there are no limits for number of categories into which can be article inserted.
Dictionary
Definitions and short articles which give you information about a particular subject is sorted category Dictionary.
Wikilectures
This category is used for Wikilectures administration.
