Many important structures leading from the arm to the hand pass through this tunnel. Including the median nerve, tendons of: flexor digitorum profundus (4 muscles), flexor digitorum superficialis (4 muscles), flexor pollicidus longus (1 muscle) and flexor carpi radialis (1 muscle).
